PAP is Pack A Picnic.
It's a template that I bought from PTI, its here to buy for your self. Trust me well worth your $5.
I made this basket into a tea cup of sorts. It has a handle and no top, that makes it somekind of pitcher or cup.
I made this for a girl that is new to the area, and we met over lunch one day last week. I made some home made "Coffee House Cookies". I got the recipe from Lauren Meader, check it out here. They are super yummy. And I'm sure not so great for the figure. So I made up all that I could and packaged them in smaller baggies, and froze the extras. That way I can just pull out a small bit of cookies, and we wont eat dozens at a time.
But anyway, I put these cookies in a cello bag and put it in my basket for my new friend.I also added a bag topper, with some scalloped circles, and stamped images from TAC.
When we were eating someone came up to the table and asked where we got the gift bag. LOL
I told her I made it and she was so amazed. She asked what I made it out of, and I told her its just scrapbook paper. She said it looked like something she would buy. That was awesome. Totally made my day.
This time I used regular 12x12 paper from CTMH. And the backside was a lite pink color, so when I folded the top down it was a different complimentary color. I also went around the folded down edge with a fiskers punch to create a lace look. And instead of making the basket handles, I used the handle template to create the handle on the side. These are so much fun to make and super easy. I hope you will give it a try and let me know, leave a link to yours in my comments section.

Father's Day
Well, I am just a bit late in posting this, but we have been running late this whole month. We went to celebrate father's day a week late this year and I still haven't given my dad his gifts yet. Nor have I made his card. But I do have it all planned out, and will complete it today.
So for chris' dad we got him some tickets to go see Ron White in savannah in Aug. This is what Chris' mom said to get him. Of course, we got her a ticket as well. AND we also decided that we needed to go with them as well. So in Aug. all 4 of us will be laughing at lil ol tater salad.
This card was inspired by a card that Susan Dean made. She is awesome with copic markers, so I look to her for coloring ideas.
This card uses a stamp set from H&M stamps called Just for dad. ( I tried to find a link, but im not sure if their website is still up or having problems)
This card is 5.5" square. Again.. I had envelope challenges with this. I really need to find square envelopes!
But on this card, I made the opening crease about an inch away from the original middle crease. This is where I glued the scrappers floss down, and you cant see the floss ends.
I also used a metal rimmed round tag that I am sure I picked up at staples or somewhere simillar. I also used some metal spiral rings that i got from TAC. And I tied the floss to those rings. The brads that are on the stamped panel are also from TAC, they are ribbon brads, and i cut off the metal loops. I wanted a rougher, more manly brad, I think this worked well. The fish are fish stickers I got from LSS and they are Jolee's.
Hope that makes sense when you check out the pictures. Hope you love it and leave a comment.
