The Missing Christmas Card

Since I forgot to add this to the post last night, here is the missing card.
I really do love this card. It's simple and i think turned out very cute.
I was inspired with the colors when we went to the singing Christmas tree.
They brought out a huge purple & gold Jesus banner. Loved the color combo.
So then I went online and tried to find pictures of random purple and gold things.
And then that led to the final Christmas card being created.

I used a SU set I borrowed from a friend on this card. The swirl at the top is a TAC stamp. The white c/s is glossy, and the purple c/s are both from TAC. The gold c/s is something I had bought a long time ago.
I used gold embossing powder. And even though I got lots of practice embossing with these cards, I still am no expert at it. I even used that silly embossing buddy.
Its a bit hard to see, but there is purple stickles in the centers of the snowflakes and through out the tree. I used my CM 12" wave cutter to do the cuts for the purple and gold papers.

ENJOY!

Using the pack a picnic template

This is totally my favorite template from Lauren Meader.
So versatile, and completely cute. Esp. if you use super cute papers.
I'm sure you have some in your stash. ;-)
Even those "odd" colors your not sure what to do with, may turn out cute once you turn them into a gift bag. And hey.. if you're giving it away.. they wont know you didn't love that paper to begin with.

This gift bag was created for an Enlisted Wives Event I attended.
I used a two toned 12x12 paper.. one side is orange and the other is yellow.
The scarecrow paper is something I have had since forever, and I have always thought it was super cute, just never had a reason to do something with it. I used a Fiskars edge punch around the top. Added some orange flowers. I colored a white button black with my sharpie marker. I tied some yellow scrappers floss through the button holes. I added some brown ribbon along the top and finished it off with a cute bow.

ENJOY!

Christmas

These are the cards I made this year for my christmas cards. I made 40 cards. 10 of each design. oops!! There is another card i forgot to take a picture of.. its so cute, i will add the picture soon.

The light post card is using all flowersoft products. The only thing thats not a flowersoft product is the green cardstock. There's no stamping on this card front. I did stamp a happy holidays message on the inside though. The snow is polar white flower soft. I love it, because it a bit of a shimmer to it. So it glistens like real snow. I think its pretty cool.

This next card card is my SU creation for the season. The papers are from Michaels, I think this one was colored with my copic markers. I used my white gel pen around the edges of the card.

This next card I really liked. Its my non traditional colors card. The snowman stamp is an oldie but goodie from TAC. The snowflake punch is from Martha Stewart. But the large pink snowflake I cut with the pazzles machine. Love that handy dandy pazzles!!
The cardstock is again from michaels. The ribbon is from the dollar bin at michaels. The kraft colored cardstock was given to me by a friend, as I realized that I forgot to get it at M's. She was such a life saver. I always forget something when I go shopping! Oh and the cute blue bling. Loved it. Didnt plan on that being there, just bought some sticky jewels at M's and they did the trick.

I promise I will find the 4th card and post it soon!!
ENJOY!!

Magnolia's

It's been a long while since I have posted.
I have been kinda creative off & on.
so heres some of the cards.
************************************************************************************
This card was made using some of TAC's paper from the 8x8 halloween paper.
This magnolia image was colored with my copics.
I added liquid applique to the wings. This made them shiny and I was able to bend them a bit and then I popped them with some pop dots.

This next magnolia card was one that I made for a swap. As was the one above. I wanted to try using some fall colors, on this card. Since this image is tilda holding a rolling pin. I wanted to include a fall recipe.
The papers are from a pack of "cooking/kitchen" paper pack that my sister gave me.
I colored the stamp with my copics. I used stickles around the edge of the card. the pumpkin stamp is from TAC.

ENJOY!!
