Let’s get scrappy

It’s been a long while since I’ve visited my blog. This place, reminds me of all the potential & love that I have for all my paper crafts. Creating cards and Scrapbooking layouts and making different things with paper has always brought me joy. I’ve taken a lot of time off because I’ve been busy being a full time always on duty mom & wife. The years I spent on that part of my life have truly been a blessing & a time I have dearly cherished. I have recently realized that although I have not been scrapbooking, I have been creating memories and I have a lot of photos to catch up on. Being busy with family life tends to do that. This rediscovery was brought about because of my desire to complete my youngest daughter’s school album. This was her senior year and I had nothing in an album. I had so many pictures, all the way back from her preschool days to her most recent senior prom pictures. I gathered all of my pictures and I planned the album. I knew I was gonna feel overwhelmed because it had been such a long time since I scrapbooked anything. I had been to a couple of crops in the past few years, but mostly to work on card kits that I picked up for the holidays or birthdays. I knew that I needed to get this project done, and I knew I needed to follow somebody else’s plan to complete this huge project. I knew that Creative Memories had a whole kit dedicated to school days. I found a workshop online that used the kit, so I bought the workshop and I got to work on the album. I’m happy to say that it took me about four months to complete and it was done in time for the graduation party.

So that project just sparked my love for Scrapbooking & paper crafting again. I am looking forward to enjoying this hobby again, And I am looking forward to sharing everything that I do with you on this blog. I also hope to be making videos of the projects I share on here.

I'm looking forward to breaking out the Copic markers and doing some coloring. And I’m looking forward to sharing that with you here as well.
